THE HACKSAW

The Hacksaw was designed in the early 1990’s as a collaboration with SURFING MAGAZINE Professional Photographer Aaron Chang. Aaron was looking for a board model that combined Performance and Ease of Paddle. Back then we used a Twinzer type fin system for its unique fin placement.  After years of rider testing we refined variations and shaped its name into the, Hacksaw.

The Hacksaw was referred by friend & rider Josh Smith who remains today a partner, friend and MarbellaSurfboards.com creator. The bottom has a normal high performance rocker combined with a deep full concave and short channels at tail.

• SURFER: Intermediate | Advanced

• WAVE: 2ft to Overhead

• BOTTOM: Slightly Full Concave from nose into a deeper Full Concave into the fins into Short Tail Channels 

• ROCKER: Moderate w/slight flip in nose and tail

• FINS: FINS: 3 Fin or Quad (FCS and FUTURES)
  *3 Fin Recommended or Quad w/ Custom Request

• TAIL: Bat Tail Only
